To design a visual identity for Gliwice Museum, which includes the Foundry Museum, the Piastowski Castle and the Caro Villa.


The design was created as an entry for a competition organized by the Museum in association with the Association of Creators of Commercial Design, and the visual identity created by Marta Szmyd from Mill Studio won the competition. The judges highlighted the way the graphic design was skillfully linked to the three separate locations and character of the museum, and the combination of multi-layered symbolism with a simple and bare form. The symbol was also chosen as one which could become a key motif in future ventures.
