  • ANIMATION

The Technology Transfer Centre at the Cracow University of Technology commissioned us to make animated films for them. The animations were to present new technologies which had been developed as part of the Innovation Incubator project. In total, there were 14 short films, presenting scientific discoveries to a wider audience.

In order to create the animations, we worked with a team of professionals which was put together especially for this commission. The team included: a copywriter, translator, reader, animator and of course, our team of designers and illustrators. The project was coordinated entirely by us, which meant that the client knew they could communicate with one person who was fully responsible for the completion of the project.

The graphic design concept made use of colours from the Client’s visual identity.  We suggested simple animations, drawn with one constant line, thanks to which the design would not distract attention away from the main idea – the narrative about a particular technology. We decided to use only a white outline, with a very few blocks of white colour. With these simple means of expression, we were able to create a modern and viewer-friendly style, while presenting scientific concepts which were, at times, very complex.
